A Guide to Latin American Special Collections at the GRI

An introduction to the research materials and collections at the Getty Research Institute related to the art and cultural histories of Latin America from the colonial period to the present-day.

Miscellaneous Reference Materials

This subsection consists of materials not easily categorized in the other subsections. Subjects include legal acts, historical fiction and poems, and international exhibitions. Materials are organized in thematic groups: Institutional and Legal Records, Literature and Literary Studies, World Expositions and Other Industry Events. The ‘Related to’ notes that accompany the materials in the last group are not comprehensive and indicate host locations or specified subject-matter. The exposition collections contain materials related to all other participating countries.
